Hey guys, wanted to run a couple things by yah. I have a friend with a 2008 Silverado 4.3 V6 w/ 4speed auto. HPT has no support and there is no ETA on when there will be. So what i'm thinking to help him out until there is support is to take a silverado or a tahoe ECM V8 and swapping in the v6 tables, similar to a segment swap, what do you think? I will not be writing the vin, i'm going to leave it as it is, cause if I did i'm thinking it will come up as invalid vin/os pair, and we don't want that. If i change the tables to a v6, it should allow me to write the tcm, any suggestions on if you think this will work? Or should I try and find a 2007 v6 auto ecm? I thought of this second option, but cannot find a 2007 ecm that was for a 4.3 auto.
