So you fixed it or just figure it out??? Before you replace it check for broken/chafed wires in the harness

lol well , i pulled out the under hood fuse block , pulled it apart and found there was some corrosion on the circuit board on the pin side (all i could get at) the corrosion did not appear to be in the start/crank area (but obviously it could very well be effecting that area)
So I managed to get my hands on a used one. It had evidence of corrosion on the connecting pins , tried it ,it fired right up , but at times took a couple cycles to fire...... but the reverse lights .tail lights stayed on ..... so im returning the used one.. new one ordered. Now still with this used one it fired NP this morning ,no speedo as before and no shift indicator working . small rd test and back ....will not crank again this morning i get code p1682 i tested the ig switch before , had 12 v in , 2 wires 12 v out and 2 with 4.5 v out i believe so i guess i need to follow these circuits thru the ecm . anyone have a complete drawing on these through the ecm? although the underhood fuse block couldbe a contibuter to the issue (or will be a problem ) there is obviuosly something else (yes i will be looking for a bad wire leading through the ig to ecm and out to block circuit if i can get a schematic

ok new block in- It initially did not crank ,second try it started to turn then stopped turning . third try it delayed then went . road test - no back cam ,no speedo, no shift indicator ,no tans temp and no engine temp. I assume i better look at the wiring connection at the trans that is associated with ignition (a day before the start of the no crank,it had no speedo,no shift indicator

Its starting to sound like a bcm or istrument cluster issue, if it runs but you arent getting instrument cluster functions, not sure off top of my head where the radio gets its input for the camera....
