After some stereo mods my Silverado ss won't start...

It will turn over and then die and say "unknown driver"

I did the VATS relearn twice but got nothing...confused about waiting for the security light to go out in between "cycles"...I waited at least 11-12min the second time and the only lights I ever had on are the battery light and the dim lights behind the radio but neither ever go out until you pull the key.

I'm at a loss - I checked all the fuses under the hood. I hope I didn't fry anything???

did you check the fuses in the dash?
