Hey guys im a member of ls1tech, my dad just bought a 2000 yukon and he wants to maybe tune it for more power and gas mileage along with maybe getting a intake of some sort..i imagine it has the 5.3 vortec motor..what options do we have for tuning, and what kind of gains can we expect??

Try doing a swarch for your topic....this is a pretty broad question as there are ALOT of tuning options from handheld programmers to mail-order tunes to software/hardware tuning packages like HPTuners, EFILive and LS1Edit

 

Well did you do you HpTuners tune for your 02 camaro? If you have the MPVI you just need to buy credits to tune it as long as it is a NBS that is.

 

no i didnt..had it done by someone that had it..Now mine is tuned by RWTD.

 

if you buy the software it's gonna cost you a good penny. i would pay nelson for a mail order. im sure he can do what you want at a better price than buying the software
