So I have a 2006 Silverado SS, trick turbo kit, 70lbs injectors, being tuned with EFI live. Having problems getting the 2 bar to work correctly. The mass air sensor is maxed out, im being told. Will the 06 pcm operating system work with the 2 bar? If not how do I get it to work? Thanks for the help!

 

convert the os to 2bar, fix the parameters for the map, write entire. Done.

 

Ok, so being new to this how do you convert it? Not looking for a step by step, Im more or less trying to learn whats going on with my truck.

EFILive has a tutorial on how to configure the Custom OS and the 2 bar tables, at least to get you going.

Do you have a copy of your current calibration you can post?

 

The problem Im being told is that the 06 does not have a custom operating system available for it. They stop at 05

 

My 06 had the ability to go 3 bar, so I don't know why people are telling you that

 

What were you using to tune it?

 

It's not the pcm that gives you that ability or not, it's if the tuning company wrote a COS for the year and OS you have. HP Tuners has some COS for 06s.
