Any ideas I can tell my tuner I am wanting to run 10psi and i bought the 2bar map sensor and hp tuners is not allowing him to tune it. I just dont know much about tuning and he is just having trouble with it being the split year

 

Was HPTuners originally used for the tune that is in it now? Do you know if anyone previously installed a custom operating system? 2bar is a custom operating system and if any form of custom operating system was previously installed it has to be returned to stock with that software before a new one can be installed. In other words if you have a EFI live custom OS and you want to do a 2bar tune with HPTuners then it has to be set back to stock with EFI live before doing so. Is it giving a error message? And if so what is it?

 

Yeah it has been tunned with hp tuners before by another person. He said that it has something to do with the year of the truck since the 07 dont allow it to change to the two bar and he emailed hp tuners he also has EFI live but cant get it to read the 2 bar does it have anything to do with the year

 

Ya I dont remember the details but the newer PCM's I believe have issues with 2bar. I dont know much about the situation with the newer PCM's.

 

when you go to a 2 bar, you have to get 2 more credits. not sure if you have done that yet. also, what 2 bar did you get?
