I was moving some stuff around in my garage today, and found the ECU/TCM from my old trailblazer SS. I always thought that i would keep them to sell them one day when i have the time. I started thinking about keeping them for some future project instead. I have an 07 classic that i have everything but more power done to. I keep thinking about these two computers and an LY6 in my truck instead of an LQ9. Would it even be WORTH it to change the engine harness to use the new style controllers if I could get an LY6 for the same price as an LQ9, but with less miles? Is the entire truck wiring needing to be replaced like cluster wiring and the whole nine yards to the tail lights or just the engine computer/trans harness by itself? What do you guys think about this idea?
