I have an 05 Sierra with throttle sensor issues. I was able to get an 06 gas pedal with wire and sensor. Will it fit the 05 TAC computer? Do any changes need to be made to make it work? I am assuming the module under hood is the same?

The TAC Modules are not the same.If you hook a 06 pedal assembly and harness to a 05 TAC module,after a few seconds of driving it will go into limp mode!!You must have an 06 TAC.

Thank you for your response! I really appreciate that! If I get the TAC module as well, is there any other changes I would have to make?

 

Also, it is going on a 6.0L, is there any calibrating for that needed?
