Default 04 Tahoe Park Safety Switch Location?

My 04 Tahoe has picked up a random "no start" issue. Electrical all comes up, HPTuners connects, there are no codes. I turn the key and nada. I tried all kinds of things, but consistently it seems moving the selector out of "Park" to "Drive" and back to "Park" makes it start. This makes me think that the park safety switch is going out. But, in order to fix it I need to know where it is.

Any input would be appreciated.

Chris

Driver side of trans. Slips over the gear selection shaft.

It is possible it is not bad, just out of adjustment. Have a buddy help you, with key on, place gear selector in reverse, loosen two 10mm bolts holding gear position sensor and rotate till the reverse lights come on, tighten two 10mm bolts.

Well I checked the old switch and it was adjusted correctly (so I'd guess the old one must have been getting worn out). I installed a new switch just to be safe. $50 to not have the wife and kids needing to be towed home is well worth it.

My guess is the contacts in the old unit were getting worn and not always making good contact.
