has anybody here done this to a 03-06 gm truck with fly by wire and converting it to cable? i want to do mine cable and going to use 4l80 transmission and would like all my stock gauges to work. im going to add to my stock harness IAC,TPS and speed sensors for the 4l80 and going to try it with a 04-05 express van file and see if that works. i've heard that it does work but not sure. if anybody has done this before please shime in. thanks in advance

It's not the same. I already checked it with mine and it won't even plug in to my fuse box, connector is totally different and wire colors ad different too.

u have to redo you same harness, i done it long time in hayhauler...but why the change?? rep mode maybe, slow throttle? the 03-04 have great throttle responce though

No not having any problems with it at all, throttle response is very touchy but I just want to make it cable style

I have it figured out already, going to try it and see if it works. it's very easy what needs to be done.

Since your truck is an 03, your PCM should work with a express file in it. All you have to do is add the appropriate wiring.
