2002 SCSB Stepside with LQ4 6.0
I have an 02 scsb stepside silverado for sale. I did the 6.0 swap about a year ago and now I'm moving on cause I have two kids and my wife and I have decided its time for a bigger house.
The Motor!
The motor is a stock bottom end LQ4. When I did the swap I tore it completely down and put new bearings,rings,seals, and gaskets in it. It was in excellent shape but I wanted to do it just because. I put the SLP high volume oil pump in it as well. I wanted it to be a sleeper so I went with the GM performance Z06 cam which is 550/550 with 117.5 lsp. I used my 4.8 heads for higher compression and put the comp LS6 springs on them. The intake is the stock truck intake and throttlebody as well. It also has an K&N cold air intake. Oh yea it has a new water pump and 160 thermostat as well, and the A/C blows cold.
Transmission!
The transmission took some trial and error cause I DID NOT want to go to the power robbing 4L80E. It has the Z pack clutches, wider bands, and the corvette servo. The Magic part was the Raptor Drive Kit that made the tranny stay together and work perfect (three rebuilds later)! I also put a small 2400-2800 stall in it as well.
Rear End!
The rear end has a Duragrip posi unit and 411 gears, with all new bearings and seals. I did the rear end after I had it tuned so the speedo is off and makes the the truck throw a wheel sensor code.
The truck is in really good shape and looks stock, but has one dent under passenger door due to a blow out in the hot Texas heat. I can send you pictures upon request just pm me your #. I'm asking $8500 OBO. I dont have to sell it, but it is time for it to go.

185,103 on the frame, and about 15,000 on the rebuild. This truck was my daily driver up until a couple of weeks ago. The truck is very reliable and solid. And I really can take trades just cash sorry.
