Default You know its cold when....

Your IATs never get above 26 degrees after warming up in the driveway for 10 minutes and a 22 mile ride to work.

Your trans temp gauge never gets above 100 degrees on the needle after the same warm up and drive.

You have frozen puddles in your garage!

Post your fun cold crap here!!!

You know it's cold when......

You let your foot off the clutch pedal and the clutch pedal slowly rises to do a perfect engagement.....

When after you start the motor and put it in nuetral, the fluid is so thick in the tranny it slows the engine RPM's down momentarily...

When your fingers stick to the metal on the stickshift

When you sit on your vinyl seat and it doesn't even compress

When the snow creaks as you drive over it

After you shut the truck off, run inside for 10 minutes, get back in to start it and the temp gage is back to under 100 deg.......

When you can leave your truck on a slight incline in nuetral and it won't even roll backwards.....

When the steam from your exhaust pipe puts ice on your bumper......

from yesterday

when it takes 15 minutes with the heat on to remove the frost on the INSIDE of you windows

when you back into a snow bank parking and your duel exhaust becomes a single exhaust

when you can see the aerodynamics of your truck as you drive down the highway and the 8" of snow in the bed vortexes.

when you give it gas and peg the speed limiter almost instantly

You open your driver's door and the body weatherstrip comes off with it

You close your driver's door and it bounces back open because the latch is frozen

You hit your auto window button just to hear a heinous screech and creak followed by your window regulator cable screwing the pooch

You hear your piston slap in third gear...

I got a couple from today.

When you have to go to the car wash to remove the ice you cannot with the defroster and a pick.

When you are spraying off your truck and the water freezes before it hits. ( I was getting ice pellets from the car wash)

When as you are washing the truck you have to occasionally open the door to make sure it doesnt freeze shut on you.

When the drive home from the car wash to the garage results in 1/4 inch of protective coating. ICE.....

When is winter over again?

Ha ha, those are some good ones I've got a few more...had to go eat dinner...

Your 1-2 shift feels like you have a Transgo with 2 washers...but you're actually still stock

Your dash starts speaking Latin as it changes shape while the heat comes up

Your all weather mats are filled with 1/2" of ice

Your coat of wax has been replaced by a coat of salt

You realize that it sucks to be 5'10" and trying to scrape ice off of the windshield of a truck with 33's

You try to adjust your power mirrors and they tell you to go f**k yourself
