Default Is it worth the trouble??

I have the opportunity to buy a 2002 ws6 with 89k miles on it, black with ram air hood, nice set of rims on it from a buddy of mine for 6k.
Only thing is the t56 transmission needs to be replaced. Would this be a good deal or should I pass?

I'd offer $5k if the tranny needs to be replaced

Other than that I'd be all over that like a ******* spider monkey

5 would be a safe starting point.. But if the trans needs replaced you can bet the car has had the dog ***** ran off it... If it is in nice shape, I have seen them sell in the high 11's..

Unless its super clean that car down here will only bring 8. Fbodys are a dime a dozen down here unfortunately as far as resale value goes.

Id be on it for sure. Id offer like 5500 and start looking for an upgraded clutch and built t56 if you plan on beating on it. Im actually looking for a fbody around that price range myself.
