They work fine in snow, but not so much on ice. I was in a rollover in an F250 with mud tires and scattered $300, 000 worth of oilfield tools in the ditch because of it. Go with winter tires if you wanna swap, they work great.

Ive been running 35 inch toyo mud terrains, they work awsome in the snow, ice isnt to much of a problem, If I could afford some id find some dayton timberlines and get the studs installed on them since there studable, then you would have no worries

You get that way too huh! Must be why I get bored with my trucks so fast, need to do more to them.

My winter plans are to:

- Get something that isn't a DD to mod.
- Proceed to mod the hell outta said non DD

No, no money trees, I wish! I sold my diesel and made money off of it, then I bought this truck so I have no truck payment now. I have the LQ4 sitting in the garage. I'm waiting until after Christmas to see if I get any of the performance goodies I want. After that, I will start picking up the supporting mods to run FI. Sometime within the next few months the LQ4 will be in, supporting mods will be done, then it's time to really think about what type of turbo system and turbo to go with.

Install LS6 Cam, and all the springs and rods. See if i can figure out all this tuning stuff and actually USE my EFILive V2. Then maybe a true trac and some 4.10's as long as the 5-speed (mainly the slave cylinder) will hold up. But who knows maybe long tubes and some intake work to.
