I had a 96 and a 06 rcsb, I only sold the 06 for my ss otherwise I would stillhave it, I loved it for the most part, sometimes it sucked when two buddies had to ride with me but for the most part I liked it allot. If you don't need the club cab that bad then go with a rcsb I think you will like it

Why would you hotrod a truck they can't be fast! hahaha

A regular cab is misserable, I am only 6'1" and you can't lean the seat back much, no place to put anything, and it isn't that much lighter then what you have now.

They say 100 lbs is .1 so if it weighs 500 more that would be less the half a seccond in the quarter.

I have the HD and it is regular cab but I wouldn't daily drive it at any point for all the reasons above. I only bought it because it was $500 and my work took it out of a few checks too.

Fwiw, my '05 seems to have more leg room than a gmt900. Plenty of room for me at 6'. Get a regular cab long bed, two in the cab (three with a girl in the middle), five in the bed I think I adjusted every body's spines with Galveston roads though.
