Yup, saw that episode. I actually toggle back and fourth between "How it's Made" and "Modern Marvels" on the history channel. ...I am such a dork (according to my wife)

 

if ur a dork than so am i... those shows are amazing!!

 

I like that new show...big fixes or something like that where they have to repair huge things. They did one on a jumbo jet, replacing the pressure hull....it was really cool!

 

It is pretty cool, I see it in person every day at work. I stop at 5-8 machine shops every day of the week! You get to see some crazy **** being done, Stop at foundries car plants, die mold and stamping shops, fabricatots etc etc.....
The machining industry feeds the world with everything and anything made of metal, composites, wood, blah blah blah!! LOL

 

I love "How It's Made"! That piston manufacturing they were showing was Wiseco, BTW

Would fit better on the comedy channel

 

Yeah i think of it like saturday morning cartoons lol

 

They seem to have a pretty killer high speed camera on "How It's Made", as you can't tell they are showing something in slow motion until they show it at normal speed.

Great show.
