I will put up a picture of my wood...er gun when I get home. 1945 Topper M48. I am the 4th generation to own the gun, great-grand father, grandfather, dad then me. It is extremely nice, been taken good care of. It is all original with only a butt pad on it.

Some of my favorite LONG guns. Don't shoot them enough.

Colt AR-15 H-Bar
Remington 870 - More in the barrel than gun. Tuned and ported.
M1 Garand - An original 1942. Re-did the wood. Bought from the DCM for $115
M1A - Newer Springfield Armory
Remington Model 700 BDL in 22-250 with Leupold 7-10 Variable dot. The varmit gun.

Here are the pictures

You will notice it has a very long barrel I believe it's a full 36 inches.. It is fully choked. It shoots a very tight pattern. In my 26 years on this earth, that gun has only had about 20-30 rounds fired through it.

Just want to add, we just moved into this house Saturday. The carpets have been vacuumed 3 times since then and still arent clean. As we move stuff from storage stuff is getting everywhere.

Now I really dig that, look at that grain, the rich patina and the case hardened steel. Lost craftmanship on modern iron.

Thanks, of everything I own, this is my pride and joy. It isn't worth much, but it has awesome detail to it, and it has become a family heirloom.

Somethings, the price tag means nothing.

The metal has a very neat design to it. Almost like a tiger stripe. I was hoping it would come out better in the picture but it didn't.

Yeah, I hear ya. Resale value is not the world. A value can not be placed on an item handed down like that.
