My dad says my grandpa swapped the barrel out one time, that my barrel isn't the original Model 10 barrel. I am not sure what that means, but I went to a show one time, actually found a barrel for it...rusted, tore the hell up...$300 bucks. Fug that.

 

I don't know just cause it was a good deal, I have had my other 870 for awhile, plus going up to the hills hear soon(little orleans), soooo why not have a new piece to try out right..

I was just curious if you did any waterfowl hunting at all. It does a great job in the field and an "okay" job on the water.

I was going to get a 870 magnum, but didn't want to spend the money on it, this will work well to drop bambi, na not really a water foul hunnter, unless I catch them shitting on my boat in the summer, then bye bye ducky.. hahaha

as long as I give heads up to the neighbors, it's all good. When I first moved here in 1998, I asked the neighbors for permission and this one neighbor, older couple...guy perks his head up..."Hell yeah, shoot a damn bazooka for all I care. Just kill those god damn ground hogs! Dirt bags won't leave my garden alone." eye eye sir!

 

Yah it sucks I have to go to my buddys place down the shore or the hills or the range to shoot, but i can shoot the hell out of my bow here,bastads not that a few holidays havn't been welcomed with a few shots not me officer
