Default Who Are Those TBYRNE Motorsports People?

You guys see me post alot but might not have all of the details so I just wanted to take a few minutes to tell everyone who we are and what we do. TBYRNE Motorsports opened in December of 1996. We started out specializing in the LT1 Camaro/Firebird. Our Z-28 was one of the fastest in the country at one point and was seen in many automotive magazines including Hot Rod, GM High Tech Performance and Chevy High Performance. Microsoft also used it in their advertising. Over time we started doing alot of work with the Corvette and full size GM trucks. An LS1 powered '98 Z-28 was one of the next build-ups. That car made close to 675 rear wheel horsepower and also had it's share of magazine appearances. One of the first trucks put together was a '99 Silverado (EC,SB) with the 5.3 motor. That received a set of CNC heads and some basic bolt-ons. I believe that ran low to mid 15s (it's been awhile). That was pretty good back then. Things have come along way over the years so it's not considered that fast anymore! Next came a 6.0 Suburban with a side mounted Magnuson supercharger and a bunch of other upgrades. That hung around for about a year and then came the big block Suburban. This was a very fun truck to drive with the Intercooled Whipple supercharger, induction, exhaust and computer upgrades. It also had a complete entertainment package and 20s. That big truck ran 13.9 at the track! 2005 was the year of the diesel. I picked up a crew cab, long tube 2005 Sierra HD with the Duramax. These are easy to mod! One computer tune can provide an additional 100+hp. Of course I had to do a little stacking to provide more horsepower/torque. This required the Allison and converter to be upgraded. An MBRP Cool Dual system takes care of the exhaust, VaraRam will be handing the induction, an entertainment system with 3 screens, 2 DVD players, satellite radio, navigation and X-Box helps pass the time on road trips. A custom ram air hood and 22" wheels/tires make this one stand out from the rest.

Ok, I think I'm rambling on now so I guess I should summarize and say that we do alot with GM trucks

We try to stay on the cutting edge and provide customers with new products as soon as they becoming available. Prices are very competitive but there is sometimes a need for our Price Match Plus Policy -

If you find a current lower advertised price that we can verify we will meet it and also deduct 15% of the difference! This applies to most products that we carry and the price has to be something that anyone can view (e-mail and phone quotes don't apply). Just let us know about this when you place your order and e-mail a direct link to the specific pricing. Discounts are not available if you find a lower price after you place your order and this can't be combined with any other discounts.

We ship worldwide with UPS daily. Truck freight orders are also possible for large shipments.

TBYRNE Motorsports is located at 1227 Horseneck Rd in Westport, MA. This is about 35 minutes from Providence, RI and a little over an hour south of Boston. We're just minutes from Horseneck Beach. As you can see, we are not just an "internet business" that might be here today and gone tomorrow. We are an established company that you can rely on!

2006 should be a very good year for the performance industry! We will be here to help you modify your vehicles for many years to come!

Let us know if there is anything that we can help you with.

Have a good day!

It's good to hear more about sponsors. I remember looking at your first truck and thinking how fast it was for a z71. Thank you for helping to keep the truck performance alive and growing!

Thanks guys! Alot of people don't know about the vendors they purchase from or are thinking about purchasing from. I figured a little info would be helpful

We're currently working on the Hemi cars section and will then be putting together a listing for the trucks. No problem getting anything from the manufacturers that we deal with. If they produce it, we can get it (any kind of vehicle). The tech guy that was here wasn't up to par so I had to let him go. The other hurt his back in an accident so we're not going to be doing much with installs through the winter.
