Question What's the best transmission operating temperature?

Like title says. Mine runs around about 180-200 on a 65° day and that is reading from the bottom of the pan. Should I look into upgrading my cooler? Just curious as to what every one's temps run.

Mine is around 115, but when the weather starts getting hot it ranges from 130-150.

Yikes on 220. At least now u have a cooler to get it down. On my other truck, I got the biggest B&M cooler they made. Kept that badboy @ ~140. No matter how hot outside.
I forgot to add that to my list when I do my tranny swap. I know most go to Ron Machine for Truetrac's. Where's best (lowest price) place to get the big cooler a lot are running?

I like to see them in the 120-170 range IMO. Anything over 220 needs to be addressed.

From anyone in particular? If anyone has spent $ on a stall, a cooler is cheap insurance to protect your investment (stall).

I honestly don't remember which ebay store I got mine from. I think it was oregon transmission or something like that.
