Tuning options: custom dyno, mail order or buy the software and learn it yourself.

What are your goals for the truck? A nitrous kit will run you ~1K for all the bells/whistles.

For $1800 - headers (these are a must) and a full nitrous system from HSW with all the safety goodies.

Good cam/tune/converter/slics should get you close, yes. I wouldn't think of head work until all other bolt ons were done.

Ya, could add in any mix of parts listed or to be later listed. You did say u wanna run in 12s or 11s one day. Depending on job security & bills...sit on the $. Do a little tweak that will be foundation for future growth & u don't have to take off down the road. That's if u need to satisfy an immediate itch.

Continue savin & when the time is right, pounce on a Maggie or Trick (or whatever turbo brand/vendor u like).
