its not gonna stop either...they already told us it was gonna be 3$ a galon by december...a big to all the commidity traders that are lining their pockets with those very nice bonus to keep this **** going..

Yep, on average of 33% or 38% I think.

Very nice.....for them. The only way an oligopoly like that can survive (and thrive) is if it has the protection of those in office.

Their profits aren't up because of the price, they're up because of the consumption. It's higher then ever right now. Rather it's was $20 a barrel or $60 their margins will stay the same.

Day-to-day and week-to-week changes don't change drastically over short periods of time and are not that apparent. If anything, consumption goes down when price goes up (basic economics). The recent increases in profit are directly attributable to price increases.

They keep talkin about all the oil available in Alaska but they won't do anything about it cuz supposedly it'll hurt the environment.
I hate the fact that a group of people like the oil companies and a few other people can put such a damper on my hobbies. Hell, most anything thats been fun to me for years has involved using gas of some sort. I hate to see our hobby get killed..... make that ***-raped, like this.
