I was putting gas in my 01 one time and it was running. I see this guy looking at me from a few pumps over. Then he comes walking over.

Him: That doesnt sound stock
Me: *laugh*
H: Whats in it? 327 or 350?
M: Its a 6 liter.
H: Ohh, a 400, nice
M: Thanks :facepalm:

Another time I was with a friend at a drive thru. His truck had an A1000 on it. The guy in the drive thru says "Your trucks making a funny noise, you should get it looked at" I looked at my buddy and loudly said "****, you musta left the bilge pump on"

 

Girlfriend: "When are you going to be finished working on your truck"

Me: while laughing, "the day I sell it"

My wife asked me why I didn't just sell my suburban and buy one like I wanted.

Umm, because they didn't make a 94 suburban with blue paint and no power options with a 6.0L and 4x4.

She said, "but you could just get you another big block suburban."

Yeah......NO

 

When someone tries to tell me something is wrong with my truck I just like to tell them it's low blinker fluid and they usually get the point, BUT, there has been a few to ask "you can just some up at auto zone can't you?"

 

People don't realize they made 235? horsepower with tbi
People ask if my 350 c10 is fast, nope

 

a 94 454 TBI made 255 HP, but around 400 ft lbs of tq. The biggest factory of a big block is the weight on the nose. They tow well.
