Well fellas my transmission has taken another crap with only 11K on the clock since it was rebuilt last December...

I was going down Rt. 1 doing 110 with no problems, then came back down to 70 the rest of the way. Then I got to where I was heading to and I made a right turn at a stop sign and I heard a sound that sounded like fan blades smacking something in drive. So I pull over and check the fluid its nice and red with no smell... So I call a buddy with a tow truck and waited for him to come and get me. I tried to put it in Reverse and it made the noise and when i put it into Drive it would be okay then it starts to make the noise. It does nothing in Park at all.

Going to drop the pan tomorrow night and check for damage. I hope its just the TC that took a dump on me. But will post up what the problem is if we can see it tomorrow night.

Who rebuilt it? Someone local I'm assuming?

 

might just be the TC, but all in all does suck specially this time of year!!!

 

I just got on and had the GPS hooked up since it stops at 100 and wanted to see how long it would take to get to that speed. I was showing off for the most part. lol.

The dealership was the ones who rebuilt it, yes local.

 

Any warranty on that?

 

Just ran up December 5th.

 

Not the way I wanted to spend my Christmas Eve with my truck breaking down... I just about cried when it was got hooked on my buddies tow truck, The only reason is because it was a ford.

 

Lesson learned. If you need a rebuild, DON"T go back stock. Especially if your lifted
