Default welcome to the whats wrong with my truck game.

i already got some good advice from a member on another site, but the more the better. if everyone agrees on pretty much for the most part the same thing, then i wont worry about replacin the wrong part and wastin money.

Im going to say the starter.

Next time it does this turn the wheel all the way to the left (so you can see the starter with out taking the wheel off) and get out and beat the starter with a mag light. A few good bumps should do the trick. Then try to start the truck. If it works then your starter is going out (like mine did).

The good thing is if it is the starter they are pretty easy to replace. Just don't forget to loosen up the bolt holding the plastic shield covering the starter/flywheel area.

starter solenoid. Just replace the whole starter.

it finally died completely roday, luckily in my driveway. went and picked up another v6 starter from a friend earlier, gunna replace it tomorrow when i get home from class.
