Default Waverunner!!!

I picked up one of the old waverunner 500s this past weekend for 300 bucks with the trailer. I put some gas in it, hooked up some jumper cables and it cranked right up. This thing has only been driven 2 times in the past 10 years and kept in a garage. Since I didnt pay very much for it I can afford to have a little fun with it. What do you guys know about nitrous on a two-stroke? I dont want anything expensive cause Im probably going to end up blowing it up anyways. I just want something to have a little fun at the lake the summer and maybe suprise a few people.

Thats kinda what I was thinking. From what I found on a jetski forum I think I can fit a 701cc in it. You can't make too fast though, thay said anything over 45mph gets pretty hard to control.
Do you do anything different to hook up nitrous on a 2stroke??

Default Get as fast as you can

I had a friend with a supercharged 1350cc and it would be at 62 in like 5 seconds. Its no diff than 45. Have fun with it just dont kill yourself.

This ski was built in 1992. I think the stability issues have more to do with the design of the hull than anything else. You could feel how easy it would slide at 25 mph.

WHOEVER SAID ANYTHING OVER 45 IS HARD TO CONTROL IS FULL OF

MY OLD STYLE STAND UP I HAD A MAJOR MODDED MOTOR... WILL A SMALL LITTLE DOSE OF GIGGLE GAS, AND IT WOULD HIT APPROX 56-59 ACCORDING TO GPS.... AND THATS ON THE SMALL STOCK DISPLACEMENT MOTOR...

PERSONALLY I WOULD STICK A BOMBARDIER 951 OUT OF THE LATE 90'S SEA DOOS IN IT... THAT THINGS GOT ALL KINDS OF POWER.... AND YOU CAN SQUEEZE IT STOCK.... AND ITLL TAKE A BEATING

For 300 bucks it was just too cheap to pass up. Me and my roomate split it. I bought a 5 gallons gas can, oil, plugs, battery, and an air filter and still have less to 200 a peice in it.
Anyone know how to get a title for it?? The tags on the side expired in 95'.
