Default Is it a V6 or a V8. duh!

I've had several people ask me if my truck has a V6 or a V8. I have longtubes, ORY, no cats, and a Flowcrapper 40 series. Oh, and they ask me this while its sitting there idling. Seriously. Anyone else get stupid questions like that about their trucks?

well...previous to my swap i would hear people EXPLAIN TO ME that my 5.3L was the new style 327.

Now..im being told that my 6.0 swap is a 400...awesome. I can't stand ignorance from someone who knew someone who had a high output three fitty with a three quata cam and some hedras.

not to mention a local tool with a clean ecsb sierra with the 4.8...claims they are using some 4.8 and 5.3 parts and making a high output 5.3 thats supposed to be hella nasty. Of which is not built and installed yet of course. not to mention he is going around telling everyone he just spent $4500 on a new computer system for it and it added like a zillion hp... we raced at the track. he ran a 10.70 in the 1.8th. I outran him with a 10.05 with my 278,000 miles 5.3 before my swap...spinning.

I can understand people who seriously don't know better, but its the ones that argue with you who are the real idiots.

I seem to remember some argument about facing the intakes of twin turbos together...

when they say something crazy like that, just nod and agree with them, it's much easier that way.
