Default tragedy hits home

i dont know if you guys are following this story, or have heard about it yet, but last Monday, a derranged man stopped about 10 miles from my house, atop the Dauphin Island bridge, and threw his children off into the water below. He tossed his four small children over the edge, ages 4, 2 1/2, 1, and four months, and drove away. he later reported them missing....then finally confessed to the horrible act he committed. its about 100-150 feet from the bridge to the water, and then the channel there is about 50-60 feet deep.....currents are tremendous in this area.

Two of the children have been found so far, miles from the scene. both were found by duck hunters, i believe. the infant and another toddler were found ...one saturday and one sunday.

this really sickens me, as i have a 5 month old son......i have really been holding him tighter to me since this occured. i really hope someone does this man justice when he arrives in prison! hopefully he wont last long in there, someone should take his life in a violent way.

i just thought i would pass this on, and maybe if you read this and you believe in any higher powers, you could say a quick prayer for the family and the mother.

you guys have a great day, and if you are a father, tell those kids you love them.

peace

Prayers are sent. I cannot believe how f#$ked up some people in this world are. They are kids man!!!! I have 2 young boys and I try to spend every possible minut e with them. Life would not be the same without them. The justice system sucks!!! I would just take the dude out of his misery. No trial needed

Yeah the man was addicted to crack cocaine from what I have been reading and I believe that is what lead to the events. Probably hoping to get some money to support his habits. He got a settlement from some accident and blew threw the money quickly. I hope someone kills his ***. PERIOD, capitol punishment FTMFW!!!!!!

Sometimes I think "eye for an eye" punishment would do this country some good. 4 children, 150 feet each....seems like a quick toss off of a 600 foot bridge would be fitting. Unbelieveable that someone could do something like that.

I am all for equal and fair punishment....I'm thinking that "stoning" or getting "drawn and quartered" is more appropriate for this crime and injustice.

There are so many sickos loose around us today. We all need to keep an eye open and protect our family and friends.
