I HATE the dentist!

My girlfriend had all 4 of her wisdom teeth surgically removed (3 of them were impacted.. one was pretty bad) last Thursday and she's been popping 600mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours or so as well as oxycodone every 4-6 hours since then. Her first prescription was for 20 pills. She used all those so they gave her 12 more.
Part of the pain is that all her bottom teeth are shifting because of the pressure they were under from the wisdom teeth growing into them.
She also has a pretty good tolerance for pain. She's been suffering from migraines for about 12 years... but that's been pretty well managed for the past 6 months or so.

percocet LOL.. 2 days after my knee surgery my wisdom tooth was killin me badly and the only thing thAT would take it away would be the percocet that they had subscribed me to use along with pain for my knee and it would knock it right out!

I know how you feel. Growing up I was told that I didn't have wisdom teeth. 4 years ago I was told that I had 4 of them but they would come through unless I had some form of trauma to my jaw. Currently, I have 3 of them coming in. I had 4 teeth pulled before I got braces so they seem to have plenty of room and they aren't making my teeth crooked (yet) so I'm just letting them go. I guess I should get them removed but I just haven't had the time.
