Back then they built alot of houses using hardwoods, oak, hickory etc...Thats why it's hard to nail. Todays 2x4's are mostly softer pine.

Before the internal combustion engine Gasoline was a worthless byproduct of refining oil and had to be disposed of.

In the US the standard electrical circuit pulses 60 times per second, this is known as hertz, or Hz. in the early days of electricity the Hz was lower and light bulbs would flicker. In Europe it's 50'z.

It takes roughly .5 seconds for your body to react to electrical shock, in that time your heart receives 30 electrical pulses. The maximum the doctor would shock your heart during a test is 8 times per second.

.6 amps is enough to be fatal. By 1 amp most people would not survive. Most electrical curcuits in your home are 20 amps, pure grounded contact would nearly kill you instantly!!

115 amp circuits are more dangerous than 460 volt circuits. Higher the voltage, lower the amperage.

I got more but it's bedtime.

Its interesting to see how much schools differ in their teachings. When I was in school for electronics tech, they taught us that 6 milliamps was enough to kill you which is .006 amps. Everyone seems to have a different rating of how much it takes.

I've always just figured it would be different for each person.

The dot over the letter "i" is called a tittle. Was aware of that

A raisin dropped in a glass of fresh champagne will bounce up and
down continuously from the bottom of the glass to the top. This is on the must do list

Chewing gum while peeling onions will keep you from crying. Ima try this one

A 2 X 4 is really 1-1/2" by 3-1/2". Knew that

If one places a tiny amount of liquor on a scorpion, it will instantly go mad and sting itself to death. I would like to see this

Bruce Lee was so fast that they actually had to s-l-o-w film down
so you could see his moves. That's the opposite of the norm. I head that before

Charlie Chaplin once won third prize in a Charlie Chaplin
look-alike contest. LMAO

An old law in Bellingham, Washington, made it illegal for a woman
to take more than three steps backwards while dancing!

There is some weird ***** from that state.. LOL

The rest of them is very interesting..
