I had access to the tesla roadster that they don't make any more. it was teslas sports car. AWD and the torque curve looked like an upside down L. very fun car, but I couldn't imagine owning one with my long commute.

just imagine what those Teslas will do with flowing exhaust and CAI

theres a guy on youtube bracket racing one and winning his class. they're awd so they should be pretty consistent as long as they hold a decent charge.

Electric cars with the current charging and battery technology we use are just useless garbage... period. Great if you live in never ending city and don't drive anywhere I guess lol. For the real world the novelty of charge times and limited range would end quite quickly.... plus let's factor temperature in here... oh good....... now with cold weather my range drops to nothing. Just a winner.... Like the 85 kwhr unit can do 113 miles to dead on a 10 degree F day..... which is mild. So to get to the city from home I would only have to stop 2 or 3 times and charge the thing lol. Long way to go to be more than a novelty car...

Tesla just beat analyst expectations for the third quarter now and reported their best sales quarter to date so they're obviously doing something right with their "useless garbage".

And they aren't targeting the "real world", their targets are those that live in the urban areas which is well over half the population in the US.

Good for the US...... you also have a warm climate where most of that population resides that never leaves it's never ending cities...... So yes the rest of the real world would find those cars utterly useless. Look into battery technology if you want to disagree..... Until storage methods improve those cars are just a novelty for city dwellers that don't go anywhere. And big whoop on the sales....... with all your millions of city dwellers they have sold 163000 cars world wide ( so outside the States too...) since 2008..... I mean good for them...... its shot up a lot but they also are deviating from only high end rich boy toys so it's obvious the fanfare will follow. And really....... this whole "green" part that goes along with it is about as much of a joke as the batteries..... But hey..... why not I guess.
