I heard that the new tax bill that Trump is trying to pass will end the 7,500 tax credit for electric vehicles. that will hurt sales even more. the technology will be there one day, but I don't think our tax dollars should fund it with our current debts.

So the semi is 150k and does 0-60 in 5 seconds. Does that beat a stock trailblazer SS?

Electrification is a fairy tale. For some reason people buy it about every 20 years or so. I guess they have to wait until we forget how bad of an idea it was last time around. They sure made a lot of money this go around though, the scams are everywhere and were perpetuated by large corporations and small alike. Look at the electric car stocks holders, they got pummeled, not to mention the private equity investments you won’t ever hear a word about.

That's not because electric cars are bunk. You'd have to be a fool to not realize they are the future. There will still be gas engines, and gas stations, but electric vehicles WILL be the majority. it just won't happen in 10 more years like they thought 10 years ago. It's probably a good 20-50 years before its dominant, but it certainly will once they figure out and build a better support system for it. It's still a new technology. They are still working on the cost of the lithium batteries. They are going to develop a better photocell. They need to improve the grid, and the locations (which they have been). I wouldn't be surprised if eventually this drive for renewal energy develops a technology that can harness the energy in lightning, (which would just be a capacitor). The younger generations like it just because they think they are going to fix climate change. It hasn't happened on the best possible scenario, but it's getting there.
