Default TBSS no credit..?

Ok first off I just want to say sorry for the rant..but i've always wondered this.
I give props to the SRT Jeep guys. Why is it whenever anyone talks about a srt Jeep and TBSS no matter what is done to either one of them, the conversation always comes back to well the Jeep can beat the SS stock for stock...

Like isnt that the point of people buying them is to mod them and see what they will do. I only raced mine ONE time when it was stock..bc the next day it wasnt stock. Who really owns a STOCK vehicle? **** just fires me up..ha

Look at any Youtube vid of TBSS vs Jeep SRT and read the comments..etc other scenerios...

Stock for stock, the SRT8 moves out.

Mod for Mod, the SRT8 moves out.

Some TBSS's ******* run hard, but alot are slow. TBSS seem to be like Lightnings, some are uber slow, some run amazing times.

I see stock and modded TBSS's running mid 14's, low 14's, high 13's, low 13's. All over the place. All the SRT8's Ive seen run low 13's, 12's.

Yea when I got mine back in 06 I ran one that had a tune, intake and exhaust and mine was bone stock. I ran a 13.8 and got him by like 2 lengths. So some are different I do believe as well. You also have to look at the SS was made in RWD and AWD whereas the SRT is solely AWD unless guys are modding and dropping d shafts and tras case etc...

a 1900 would be awesome Richard but gahhh...getting married is expensive!
What heads are on your truck the rectangle ports?

srt8s may be fast but even alot of guy I know that arent big fans of gm would still love to have a tbss, you have to look at it this way, the ls2 is out dated already, the srt8 has what a 6.1? and none of us can deny that they work good, suck it up mod the tbss, and when you kick a srt 8s butt youll have that much more respect from everyone
