ok since thers only one person interested and he hasnt seen it lol Ill spoil it for the rest. As the tittle said it was the 2008 Silverado 5.3 VS the 2008 Tahoe hybrid with the 5.3. First test was bone stock offroad capability, the contenders had to do a off road course which included stream crossing, steap muddy uphill climbs as well as sharps turns going down hill, fastest vehicle wins, and for the record these werent no dirt roads a civic could drive down, these were pretty nasty in places, looks like a four wheeler trail, Silverado came out on top due to better ground clearance and being more designed for offraod then the hoe. Second test was 0-60 times up hill, tahoe did 0-60 in 11.9 seconds, the catch is it did 0-30 mph running 100% on the electic motors, silverado did -60 in about 11.2 seconds, being lighter then the hoe gave it the advantage there (no 65kg battery and extra electric motors). 3rd test was offroading towing capability, the outcome of this was surprising. Contenders had to pull a large John deer tractor from a stand still across a corn feild in the mud from one side to the other, Silverado did it in 62 seconds getting stuck at first before it moved it (silvy was on stock 20s for all tests)after getting unstuck and getting the tractor moving traction really seemed to hold it back. next was the hoe, which finished at 52 seconds, the hoe being heavier with the battery in back and motor(s) in the front seemed to help traction and barely spun at all towing the tractor. Both did very well considering the conditions and the stock tires. 4th and final test was the road course (while raining, large puddles on course) fastest wins, +1 second for every cone knocked over. Cant remember the times but the hoe wins partly do to more exsperienced driver, lower center of gravity, ride control. Silvy was about 6 seconds slower then the hoe, but he also knocked down 4 cones, so the silvy and hoe were pretty equally matched in that.

Overall Silvy score of 2, hoe score of 2. Proved that the hoe with its elctric motors can hold its own against the gassers and get dramactically better gas mileage doing so.

Edit Silvy was a crew cab z71 4x4, hoe was a regular hoe 4x4 hybrid

haha no, this show does stuff like this often, last time I seen it they had a Can Am 800 outlander (super crazy nice canadian built quad) and a diesel 650 quad (English made but I cant remember the name). Anyways this show takes stuff and puts them to the test battling each other

i did not get to see it but one part i do not like.
a silverado going from 0 to 60 in 11.2 with a 5.3 under the hood.
most cars and trucks can go from 0 to 60 in 6 to 7 seconds.
