street outlaws

I will catch maybe one show every month or so. My biggest question to guys that aren't affiliated with the midwest (hoping to get an unbiased answer), are they really the FASTEST on the street? Like is there anything that is faster?

Crow just posted a vid of him putting down 1800 to the tire on "low boost", whatever that means. I haven't watched the show in a while but looks like I'm missing some serious upgrades.

I look at it as an "On Any Given Sunday" situation. They are very fast but too many variables to account for.
For example, Jeff Lutz showed up and got his *** handed to him. I'm sure he could apply his lessons learned and completely turn the tables.
Also, I get a sense that the level of preparation is "different" than a dedicated track team and accounts for a lot of the inconsistencies in some of the characters' performances.

Great show last night. Man all the guys were killing down the 660 and made Texas look horrible. Monza and Doc looked like killers. Boosted had a amazing pass. Dave and Chief did what they do.
The driver of the mustang caused his own wreck. When his front end was in the air he turned his wheel 90+ degrees to the left. So when it came down the car jerked left then he tried correcting it to the right and she went *** over tea kettle. Sucks to see anyone wreck but come on man, that was your fault. Another point Id like to stress is when your in the middle of a crash your arms should be crossed at your chest, not trying to hold the wheel. I have never personally crashed that bad so I cant say that in those in the face of death moments you are going to cross your arms but i figured i would post it.
