Default Starting a truck that has sat for 2 years

My grandpa passed away 2 years ago and his 2005 Sierra v6 has been sitting since then. My grandma had it towed to my house this morning so I can get it into good condition to sell. The engine and hoses look fine, and I'll change all the fluids. I already replaced the battery, but the fuel is bad I'm sure. The tank is almost empty, so I was thinking I could just top it off with fresh fuel and try to fire it up. Thoughts?

Mine sat for a little over a year with about 1/8th of a tank. Put fresh gas in it and she's running great. Throw a new fuel filter in there also

Thanks. I dumped 10 gallons of new gas in it and it fired right up.

Tires maybe a little flat spotted nothing running it for a few miles should fix. You took care of any issues. Changing fluids, oil, adding fresh fuel, etc should be sufficient. Sounds like a good little truck.

Only 60k miles, it's pretty young for being 10 years old

60k isn't even broken in. I'd consider it almost new for a truck of that age
