anyone know if stainless steel headers will turn colors from the heat?

every set of stainless headers i have ever seen, including mine have changed colors

well doesnt look like i'll have to worry about it. jus got a ticket for laying drag . i was rollin bout 15-20 and decided to punch it....didnt see the cop a few cars behind me

So what if they change color? Stailess looks awesome with some heat to them...they turn a nice blue at the ports and gold further down
