Well if that's not reason enough to NOT get them then IDK what is. Aren't spurs considered cruel and unnecessary anyway? I might get flamed for that but I don't give a ****; they seem pointless and I've never ridden with someone that wore them.

Ive got a pair, only time Ive ever worn them in public is when we went into town for lunch while rounding up the cattle on my deer lease, but I was dusty and wearing my old riding boots so it fit. Under no circumstances should you wear them in public unless its halloween and you are dressed up as a cowboy.
