Spurs for your boots?

We're just trying to help you. You're going to look like a huge poser. Why wouldn't you carry around a lasso as well. That's pretty much the same concept as wearing spurs. If you don't need them, don't use them.

I'm not going to wear them daily 
. People already laugh at me for wearing cowboy boots. Used to that. I just happen to think it'd be sweet to be able to break em out once or twice a year and tell people I actually have spurs. Besides, they might be useful on a horse.

I live in Oklahoma which ranks up there amongst the most 'cowboy' places in the USA. If you don't make your living on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays riding bulls and broncs then DO NOT get spurs. Even rodeo cowboys don't wear spurs when they don't ride. I'm not sure if I've ever seen anyone out and about with spurs on. Maybe one or two and they were made fun of constantly by everyone.
