Drove the suburban to work today, then got home and jacked the truck up. spun the wheel while still on the truck, it started clunking. I thought oh ****, blown diff or cv or something.....wrong. Turns out the the the flanges where the cv and output shaft from differential meet were hitting that bolt that was hangin out.

Thanks God it was simple. Knocked the bolt back through, removed the nut from the other bolt, brought it to ace hardware, matched it, (16mm) and bought a lock washer and blue locktight. (thanks Ben). They didnt have a nylon stop nut so I went with the lock washer and locktight instead.
Torqued that bish down with air.

Also did some weight reduction LOL (Yes I know its aluminum and weighs nothing but one of the bolts was sheared off from long ago and it was hanging. Figured it was time to let go lol.

also, fastnblu, I went ahead and tiewrapped the boot on the inner tierod. Should hold nicely.
