Default some updated info on 5.3 vs dodge 5.9

so i told you guys about racing my friend with the 2000 dodge 5.9...well we did 3 runs yesterday on a shitty *** road that was part dirt for fun and we both were getting no traction...the races sucked...i was spinning through almost 2 gears on 2 of the runs...and you guys were right about him beating me off the line because he has more torque but with all the spinning i did and him catching grip it was too hard for me to catch up on such a shitty road...the middle run out of the 3 was how it should have been...we both had better grip but he got a truck on me off the line and through mid second gear i was at his door pulling him really hard so that one i ended up winning but i had no traction at alllllllll...sucked...plus we arent necessarily counting it as official because we wanted to get it documented on video and no tailgates...so we were just ******* around but it gives me a few ideas on what i need to work on with my launches to take him off the line because if i can do that i know he cant catch up like i can...if it doesnt rain this weekend ill let you guys know how it goes and hopefully get a video

The ty road conditions have always been me and 1979rs/z28's worst enemy too. The first time we raced the roads were covered in pine straw so it looked more like a burnout contest than races. I need a Sure-Grip and he needs new tires.
