A few guys around here (South Georgia) have the SJX-type boats. I'd like to have one myself. The hulls are pretty sturdy, if you couldn't tell by the video. Not like your average Bass Tracker hull.And the "gas hog" looks like a jank, drug runner boat. Awesome videos.

 

Bass boat wreck was local to me! He owns a local marine shop called the prop shop, and was testing a customers boat and anew prop design! He is ok now just hurt for awhile

 

Sorry but the guy in the bass boat in an idiot! If jumping wakes is his idea of testing a prop he deserves what happened to him. If that were my boat I would have been pissed!!! My pop has a Triton with a big *** motor that turns deep in the 70's. No freaking way I would be jumping waves with that thing! The couple times I drove his boat it will go from 40-70 in a very short distance and when it gets up on the prop its a little spooky if your not use to it. I totally can see why the boat in that video did what it did. Just does not make sense to do that in my opinion. In wavy water those boats are not my idea of fun. I guess that's why I love my 18' lund deep V and it always gets us back to the launch in one piece. I have been out in 4-6 footers (not preferred) but when your out there and the winds kick up it works. If you want to act like an idiot on the water get a jet ski!!!!

yea def not my idea of a smart move..... I have only been 70+ a hand full of times on the water and its not for me haha! I ran a jet ski (modded xp) up a channel at 82mph and I will never do that again!

 

Bass boat guy proves the saying true.. NO COMMON SENSE.. Alot of people have no reason to be on a boat, just buy them because they have more money then brains.. It gives the rest of us that do a bad name that actually no how and what is going on out there, I see **** like that all the time I love boats, I love going fast on them, been on a million 120mph blasts, have had some that ran very well along with my current one.. The ditch sprint boats are awesome, I would love to see them in person..
