Was tossing the idea around for a bit because we really need a crew cab (3 kids) and I over exceeded the goals I had for the truck. A buddy of mine texted me that he was very interested in it. He knows me and the truck well. He came over and checked it out, test drove it and handed me the check. The next day, he's swapping plates and driving away with it.

bitter - I was just really enjoying the truck. Everything finally came together. Plenty of power, trans was reliable and the look I was going for. I owed zero on it and enjoyed driving it every day. I never got to do my 4x4 burn out and I woulda loved to turn it up for a glory pass on the dyno and break 700 wheel.

sweet - I'm shopping for crew cabs and likely a new DI setup. New projects, new learning, continue wrenching.

I've been building and playing with it for ~6 years. Most of which is documented here. I liked this truck more than the race car I built and owned for over 12 years. I had the pleasure of making a ton of friends with it and was successful at racing. Thanks to all of you, I look forward to my new future in performance trucks.

 

Sorry to see her go! Lots of blood and sweat. I know you'll come up with something else to play with though. Carry on brother!

Found a new crew cab I’m fixing to buy. Stupid expensive but it’s a nice truck.

 

Man I been debating the same thing... sell my black gmc and get into a new 2018 and play with the new gen V stuff. You regret it or not?

 

I just grabbed a 14 crew 6.2... I LOVE it so far. I'm still under warranty but I may play a little once its out.

 

right now, a bit. once i get a new truck , probably not.
