6.2 LT1 V8. LSX research is apparently over . I was honestly exspecting bigger increases from the 426 hp 6.2 ls3 then the 450 hp 6.2 LT1. Doesnt appear like anything will be interchangable

Edited: one note, digging the dry sump oil system, hopefully itll make it into the trucks, also I like the accesory setup, very clean and simple looking. And I was pissed when I read that the ecm code will be hard to crack for tuners

LR1 is exactly what I was thinking.... Blake's cobalt with direct injection was good to about 450hp, so maybe these new engines will be good to ~900hp before they run out of fuel...? Maybe do a piggy back port injection system above that..?

the DI fuel system can support enough power if tuned right. injection timing, can larger cam lobes. it's not about IDC anymore with DI setups. have to watch the Msec and keep it under a certain open time or you **** fuel out the back and get misfires. it's a whole new learning curve. gone are the days of 28 degree's of timing on pump gas.
i think it will be very interesting to see what comes of this and how far it goes before someone steps up and makes custom injectors.
