just goin off what the owner told me isn't a 4.250 bore & 4" stroke a 427?

Nope. 4.250x3.76 stroke is a 427
4.25x 4.00 =454
396,402 & 427 all have a 3.76" stroke.

Many 396's from the factory were actually 402's due to a production problem and they just bored them more instead of scrapping the blocks from what I have been told. Then they just made the 402 the norm and did away with the 396.

yeah, i knew it was a 325 but didn't know there was a 1/4 on it too. if i would have put 325, i would have still had people asking what that was.

no one calls it a 325 anyways. Hell those idiots over at autozone call its a 323. At least their computer does
