What the hell has been up guys? As many of you know I am currently deployed to Iraq. It is hot and full of sand. I ******* HATE SAND!!!!!!! Just checking in to see whats up. If ya'll have any questions, just ask.

Where ya at man? We been getting alot of sand storms lately here, really sucks!!!

When mid summer comes and it's 100+ degrees here for a week straight i'll show you my driveway. People don't bother to come to my house because once they stop, they can't go again.

 

I am at Camp Bucca. It is about 2 miles from the Kuwaiti border. Every one says this place is like going to the worlds biggest beach without the water. I am at the end of the beach, lol. The Persian gulf is only like 7 miles away. On a clear day when the is not a sand storm (so almost never), you can see Iraq's only port town, Un Qusar. Sometimes from a tower you can see ships coming in, but you can't see the water, so it looks like the ships are rolling across the desert.


No ribs here, just a lot of chicken, and burgers that i am pretty sure are made from camel.

I miss Oklahoma weather. I thought that Mid July-Aug Weather of 100+ was bad. But when I got here in April and it was 100+ already, screw that. And because Of being so close to the Persian Gulf, it gets really humid here alot also. May is like mid summer in Ok, and has the humidly of south caraliona 3 or so days of the week also. The air is either really dry or super humid.

And for the sand. Sand on the ground is one thing, but the **** blowing in your face all day every day sucks *****. Oklahoma is windy, but not like this place. And it is no cool summer breeze either. It is like super heated hell wind, with freaking sand in it. Boo Iraq. Iraq is moo-zein. That in aribic for no good.

I will be home for R&R in November for some deer hunting, and lots and lots of partying my *** off.
