Default Should I be scared of 200K miles?

I have found an extremely clean truck that is optioned the way I want it, but it has 192K miles on it. It is a bone stock 2005 5.3L. Is there anything that I should pay particular attention too when looking at it? Or would any of you just walk away? Thnks!

i've purchased two vehicles with over 150k miles on em, had headgasket trouble with both. not really sure what else to look for, maybe have a friend who's a mechanic look it over top to bottom before pulling the trigger?

The transmission might be a problem

also if it's a diesel, especially a cummins, high mileage isn't THAT bad, i've personally seen a 5.9 cummins with a little over 300k miles on it that only had oil changes done, still 100% working order. but i still think buying almost anything used needs an inspection before purchase

Thats a good question.
As long as it was taken care of and serviced, id buy it in a heart beat. I just bought a 2003 z71 tahoe with 240k miles on it. Transmission is shot but everything else is good.

My dad bought a 04 ecsb 2wd from a friend of mine with 205k miles on it. Drives like new just has the famous cluster issues. And still gets 19-20mpg.

I sold my 03 with 175K+ on it. I had transmission issues but other then that it was a solid truck. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one with that many miles as long as I checked it over well.

I started spraying my stock engine at 230,000. No reason 200 is a problem. Might not last forever but should last a wile.

Really depends.... The engine might be fine but there is still a truck around it that would have a bunch of things potentially wrong with it, worn out, not working etc. I personally will run something I have owned that has been good to me to high mileage..... but I would never buy something with high miles. My luck would be a cratering lemon nightmare, lol. The low mileage stuff is hit or miss bad enough.
