Well there's a boy in town with a 2000 silverado rcsb Z71 for sale.It has 285/75/16 maxxis bighorns ,and straight pipes coming out at 90 degree's behind the tires.30% tint. The interior is decent, about the same as mine in my truck. The only kicker is that it has 210K miles on it.It doesnt look like its been run hard but looks are deceaving.He's only asking $4500 dollars for it. I like my truck but I really need, well , want a 4x4. do yall think I should do it and plan on replacing the 5.3 with a another one or upgrade to a 6.0? Or should I leave it alone? I relly need input quick.

 

thats cheap , does it have a salvage title or 200k on the clock?

Trucks got alot of miles on it and not just the motors. Suspension, tranny, axles, rear-end, all take abuse with that kind of mileage. There's a reason why it's so cheap I would assume but at the same time...could be a heck of a deal if it was properly maintained.

 

if you have under 100k on yours dont do it

i had a nbs 99 silverado v6 and was dying to get rid of it( lack of power) and didnt want to deal with a v6 to v8 swap, then i bought my current truck for 7k with 150k on the clock, i really wish i hadnt, my interior is junk compared to my old truck and the exterior is kinda rough too, plus i have a few things wrong, fuel pump for one thing and im trying to get ahead enough to get a newer truck it has a v8 and 20s was what sold me on mine

short version: look around and you WILL find what you want just might take a while

 

My truck has 103K on it.Im only 17 or I would be getting something way better than a 2000 w/ that many miles.

Yeah im, only making $7.00 hr now washing cars at a dealership. I think im gonna have to get a second job though.Im think im gonna get it.rhough because its a nice truck and that Z71 just looks good.

 

Take it for a drive and see what it feels like. Tranny might also be on the list of things to replace soon after purchase depending on the drives right foot.
