It was upwards of $40k but since I didnt have Insurance the hospital took 30% off instantly. Also, it was a "charitable" hospital so their charity program took care of another 60%. As of now I can barely walk, but I think most of that is because of the boot. Running is definatly not an option for a few months but I dont do much of that anyways

I should be able to go snowmobiling this winter, probably like February but I wont be snowboarding till next year and I'll be able to ride my bike again this spring. As of now I have full movement of my ankle but it's just a limited range of motion. Luckily it wasnt my trigger foot LOL it was my left...I am left footed tho!

Damn, I feel your pain.. Literally. I broke mine almost the same way in 01'. Shattered 14 bones, busted ankle, leg and blown out knee. Way to much broken for one time for sure. Luckly I had insurance. Most of my hardware has been removed but I still have 2 screws and a plate. If I can say one thing- DONT PUSH IT WHEN ITS HEALING. I still have hard times in the morning, its always stiff and I limp for about 10 min every morning until it loosens up. I have bad days where it wants to give out, and my knee throws fits every so often and when it does I have a neo sleeve for it. Tread lightly man let it heal...
