Different states=different laws. But the 3 extra tickets sound like hear-say if they go to court.

Just hope your attorney is a good one..........I think that the cops just took the words of the other people involved and the public that may have been around the area. But the last 3 citations were based on what other people said and not what the law saw, so its heresay and not worth a poop in court, your attorney should be able to fight those off with little problems. What worries me is that you might have a bad driving record, if this is the case, depending on your previous chargers, might depend on how it goes in court, still worth the fight, and if the officer does not quit harrassing you about the case, go to his superior, and don't forget you always have the county manager and the city manager............they hate getting complaints on the local officers, they have to look into them, its part of their jobs, and when they get envolved, it usually gets nasty because they notify the head of each law enforcement agency and want answers, then the poop runs down hill back to the citation writting officer............then he gets the hint to back off.

You either had some really shitty luck, wrong place/wrong time, everyone around at a bad angle, etc... or we're not getting the whole story.

If it happened the way you said, you'll need to pretty good lawyer, maybe even a polygraph wouldn't be a bad idea.

For a while I was the king of really shitty luck. past few years have been better. You guys have the whole story, at least as much as I know. Maybe I banged this cops wife a few years back, and this is his revenge?

This is steaming pile of crap. At least 3 of those tickets will get thrown out with a decent lawyer. The only thing that worries me is if you're in a small town those judges can be less than impartial. I personally wouldn't settle for anything less than all of them thrown out and a 50\50 fault on the accident. All of the witnesses were behind the accident so even if they get brought in to testify it will be useless. You definitely want to get that arrest off your record, it will haunt you for a long time. At best you will get all this squared away but it's gonna cost a buttload in legal fees. Just pay it and fight it, trust me. I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you.

Come on, tell us more! I feel like I've missed something.
Did you have your laptop in the truck?
Any video this time?
I'm not saying your not telling the truth, but
I'm definitely stirring the pot.

BTW, racer, I hope everything works out for you.
Saw your insane video again this morning
Be glad that your accident didn't happen that day.
I know, this is so wrong, but dude I've seen
you in action!
